About Pastor Troy

Pastor Troy L. Garner is the founding Pastor of the Fellowship of Faith Church. He is a student of preaching, a student of the word. He grew up in Huntsville, Alabama where he was saved at the age of 10 and called to preach at the age of 18.

Pastor Troy received his B.A in Biblical studies from the American Baptist College in Nashville, Tennessee, having received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical studies in 1996. He received his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky.  Presently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from the Birmingham Theological Seminary in Birmingham, Alabama. He desires to be a great preacher/teacher of the word.

Pastor Troy has been preaching since 1987 and has been a pastor at churches in Mobile and Athens before founding The Fellowship of Faith in Huntsville in November of 2003 where God is doing a great work.

Pastor Troy is married to Kimberly Garner. She assists her husband with daily operation of the Fellowship of Faith. Lady Kim is the Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School.  They are the proud parents of one daughter, Tory Michelle Garner who is 8.

Pastor Troy is an avid sports fan. He is the Chaplain of the Alabama A&M University basketball & football teams. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, a member of 100Black Men, an alumnus of Huntsville Leadership and a board member for the Harvest Boys and Girls Club.


About Lady Kim

Lady Kim received her B.A and Masters degree from Alabama A&M University. She also has a Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Alabama. Presently, she is an Assistant Principal at Monrovia Middle School. She loves health & fitness. She is a certified fitness trainer.

Lady Kim is very active in the community. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority incorporated. She is an alumnus of Huntsville Leadership. She is an officer in the Greater Huntsville Interdenominational Ministerial Spouses Alliance. She loves her Pastor and her church.


About Tory

Tory is a 3rd grader at the Monrovia Elementary School. She is involved in dance at the North Alabama Dance Center. She loves bike riding and swimming. She plays softball and basketball at the Monrovia parks and recreation. She loves animals and collecting rocks.
